Lemon Two is a traditional hand-made grade of shellac known for its warm lemon-toned appearance and slightly higher impurity allowance compared to premium grades like Lemon One or Superior Lemon. It is crafted using time-honored methods where Seedlac is manually pressed and filtered through cotton cloth under charcoal heat. This artisanal process results in thin, lustrous flakes of shellac that retain the natural properties of the lac resin while removing most waxes and insoluble matter.
Lemon Two offers an excellent value-performance ratio, making it especially well-suited for applications where a natural, semi-pale coating is required but absolute clarity or color brightness is not critical.
